Milan's Unbeaten Start Ends
AC Milan's perfect start to the Serie A season came to an end on Saturday as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Torino at the San Siro.
Olivier Giroud scored twice for Milan, but goals from Nikola Vlasic and Antonio Sanabria earned Torino a share of the spoils.
Giroud's Double Not Enough for Milan
Giroud opened the scoring for Milan in the 14th minute, heading home a cross from Junior Messias.
However, Torino equalized just four minutes later through Vlasic.
The Croatian forward curled a beautiful shot into the top corner from the edge of the area.
Sanabria's Goal Stuns Milan
Milan dominated the remainder of the first half and created several chances, but they were unable to find a second goal.
Torino took the lead for the first time in the 55th minute when Sanabria headed home a cross from Wilfried Singo.
Milan pushed for an equalizer and eventually got it in the 75th minute.
Giroud converted a penalty after he was fouled by David Zima.
Milan could not find a winner in the closing stages, and they were forced to settle for a draw.
